Read a little about the history of Artisan Bakery, our new owners, and their commitment to the local community.

The Artisan Bakery has been a proud staple in the Old East Village community of London for over 10 years. Located in a protected heritage building just east of the downtown core, Artisan Bakery is a piece of local history.

After years of experience as a Red Seal Chef in restaurants from Niagara to Australia, and a stint at a five-star hotel in the Caribbean, Sean became increasingly passionate about sourdough breads and Viennoiserie. Sean is supported by his partner and London local Brie, a mental health and addictions advocate pursuing a master’s degree in Social Work.

By combining Sean's talents and Brie's passion for community outreach, Artisan Bakery proudly created a bread donation program for community members and families in need.
