Why is it purple!? If you haven’t seen it for yourself, our delicious Walnut Sourdough is an exciting shade of purple! This is due to a natural chemical reaction between the iron in a good flour, and the gallic acid found in walnut skins! Like all of our breads, the Walnut Sourdough is made with simple ingredients.
